One of the best commentaries on this sight is John Gill’s. Gill was a Puritan and a great Hebrew scholar who pastored New Park Street Tabernacle a century before Spurgeon preached there.

This is another Bible search site. It has several versions, but what makes this particular tool so useful is that you can turn on Strong’s Concordance for any passage you find. This gives you the ability to find, not only the English words in any passage, but the Hebrew and Greek words from which the English is translated.
